Treatment shaped
around your needs.

Psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, and medication treatment for adults, adolescents, and children.

Psychiatric evaluation

A thorough assessment helps clarify diagnosis and guide treatment. We consider your current concerns, developmental and medical history, prior care, and available records or testing.

Psychotherapy

Therapy offers space to understand feelings, relationships, identity, and life events. My approach draws on psychoanalytic training and is adapted to each person’s needs.

Medication evaluation & treatment

I bring a strong focus on psychopharmacology to evaluating medication options, reviewing previous responses, and following treatment over time.

For patients seeking medication consultation or ongoing medication treatment while working with an established therapist, I collaborate with that therapist, with your permission, to support coordinated care.

When appropriate, we may discuss pharmacogenetic testing. This genetic testing can help inform medication selection and dosing for certain medications and identify some risks of side effects. Results are considered alongside your medical history, previous treatment experiences, and clinical assessment. Testing cannot guarantee that a medication will be effective or free of side effects.

Care across generations

I work with adults as well as adolescents and children. When appropriate, care includes guidance for parents and collaboration with other people involved in a child’s care.

Areas of clinical focus

Development

  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and children
  • Tourette syndrome
  • Social media addiction
  • Screen addiction

Computerized attention testing for ADHD

When appropriate, I offer computerized testing of attention and related skills to help establish a baseline and track changes during medication treatment for ADHD. Results are considered alongside symptoms, daily functioning, and the broader clinical evaluation; testing alone does not establish or rule out an ADHD diagnosis.

Mood, anxiety, and related concerns

  • Treatment-resistant depression
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Personality disorders

I treat the full range of personality disorders, including narcissistic and borderline personality disorders.

I also work with adolescents experiencing self-harm, suicidal thoughts or behavior, and emotional dysregulation, and provide guidance to parents.
